Creativity For A Cause

Join Us on Saturday, November 28 as Mill Race Village and Mount Holly

Support the Local Food Banks

Satisfy your creative flair and charitable generosity in a fun-filled day of artistic workshops ranging from stained glass mosaics to cake decorating to jewelry design! The workshops require little to no previous experience and each participant will attend two classes-one in the morning, and one in the afternoon. A delicious lunch will be provided by Mill Race Village’s own Robin’s Nest and you’ll even have a bit of time to stroll through the charming Village and Mt. Holly shops between classes. Each participant’s registration fee is $100, and from that, $30 will be donated to the local food banks. Good times will be had by all! To register or for further information, visit our website, www.CreativityForACause.com or email Barbara at bmcfarland@libertybelleglassworks.com.

Tempera Resist Workshops by Sandra L. Jones. Both morning and afternoon workshops are available.

Are you a Picasso or are coloring books more your speed? Either way, you’re sure to enjoy this unusual painting technique! Check out my website to see a little about the technique and what is possible. At this workshop you’ll have the option of starting off with a pre-drawn design (five designs available) and painting it in your choice of colors, or creating your own masterpiece from start to finish. Walk away with a matted piece of art, ready for framing!

If you’d like to paint one of these designs, please email me with your name and the number of the design. (Please put art workshop in the subject line). If you wish to “do your own thing” I’ll supply you with watercolor paper (and a mat to frame the work). All supplies: paper, paint and brushes will be provided. A demonstration will be done at the beginning of the workshop, and then you will have time to do your own painting.  Feel free to contact me if you have any questions prior to the workshop.
